Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effect of maternal bedside nursing care on postpartum depression of primipara.Methods Between January 2010 and December 2010,in our hospital normal full-term delivery of 400 cases were randomly divided into 2 groups with 200 cases each group.Patients in control group received traditional nursing model,namely the baby shower,massage,immunization and maternal health education were concentrated,while the experiment group implemented maternal bedside nursing care.The incidence of postpartum depression of primipara in two groups were observed.Results In the observation group,puerperal period depression incidence rate was significantly lower than that in the control group (5.5％ vs 12.5％ ;x2 =7.088,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusions The implementation of mother-to-child bedside nursing care can reduce the incidence of depression in puerperium.
