Abstract:
Objective To investigate the sleep quality situation of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma after interventional therapy,so as to provide evidence for the intervention. Methods Randomly divided 140 patients into intervention group that received new nursing intervention on the basis of routine nursing, and control group received routine nursing, with 70 cases each group.Assessed patients' sleep quality with the Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) before and the third day after the interventional therapy. Results Before interventional therapy, the total scores of the control group and intervention group were (9.89 ±1.54) and (10.68 ± 1.47),respectively,the difference hasn' t statistical significance (P > 0.05).After interventional therapy, the total score of the control group was significantly higher than that of the intervention group [(9.45±2.05) vs (6.21 ±1.36);t=-3.98,P<0.01].Conclusions Patients with hepatocellular carcinoma after interventional therapy tend to suffer insomnia and poor quality sleep which impact the recovery and cause cancer relapse and metastasis diffusion.Specific nursing intervention can improve the patients' sleep quality effectively in the post-operative period.
