Abstract:
Objective To observe the effect of medical invisible antimicrobial film to prevent radioactive skin injury of patients with esophagus cancer. Methods 187 patients with esophagus cancer were randomly divided into two groups:the control group with 82 cases and the observation group with 105 cases. The control group received conventional nursing while the observation group received medical invisible antimicrobial film before and after radiotherapy in addition, and skin injury of two groups was compared. Results There were 10 cases (12.2%) of zero level,13 cases (12.2%) of one level,42 cases (51.2%) of two level,12 cases (14.6%) of three level, and 5 cases (6.1%) of four level in the control group. There were 67 cases (63.8%) of zero level,27 cases (25.7%) of one level,8 cases (7.6%) of two level,3 cases (2.9%) of three level, and 0 case (0.0%) of four level in the observation group. The differences of Rank sum test was statistically significant (Z = 4.330,P = 0.000).The frequency and severity of skin injury in observation group was obviously lower than that of control group. Conclusions Medical invisible antimicrobial film can effectively reduce the incidence rate and severity of skin injury after radiation.
