Abstract:
Objective To analyze the influence of aerobic stamina exercises on immune function of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods 68 cases of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were divided into two groups, the experimental group (38 cases) and the control group (30 cases). The control group received COPD standard medication while the experimental group received aerobic stamina sports for 4 weeks in addition. Two groups' immune function were compared before and after the treatment. Results No significant differences were observed between the two groups before any intervention was taken (P > 0.05).The lever of CD3 + %,(CD3 + + CD4+) %,Th/Ts,(CD3 +-CD19 +) %,(CD3 +-CD16 + +CD56+)% [(61.5±5.4),(36.2±9.8),(1.9±0.7),(12.8±4.6),(25.6±5.3)%]were significantly higher in experimental group than in control group [(54.5 ± 5.9),(29.9 ± 8.9),(1.3 ± 0.6),(10.6 ± 3.2),(22.3 ± 2.9)%]after 6 weeks treatment. And the lever of (CD3+ + CD8+)% in experimental group (21.6 ± 9.7) % was significantly lower than that in control group (27.6 ±± 11.7) % after 6 weeks treatment (t =5.008,2.773,3.946,2.342,3.269,-2.283,respectively ; P < 0.05).Conclusions Aerobic stamina exercise has a positive effect on immune function of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
