Abstract:
Objective To investigate the status of multidrug resistance bacteria multiple infection in ICU,in order to provide clinical basis for the prevention and control of multidrug resistance bacteria infections as well as hospital infections. Methods Retrospective method was used to collect and analyze the material of multidrug resistance bacteria infections in ICU from January 2009 to October 2011.Results 83 cases of multidrug resistance bacteria infections happened in integrated ICU from January 2009 to October 2011 with the incidence rate of 2.82%,in which 18 cases happened in 2009,29 in 2010 and 36 in 2011,symbolizing a rising trend.Besides, the fatality rate was 22.22%,17.24% and 16.67%,respectively.Respiratory tract infection was most common, with the incidence rate of 83.33%,79.31% and 86.11% respectively in 2009,2010,2011,and urinary tract infection, surgical wound infection and blood infection were the next. The strain was mainly MRSA,ESBLs,positive KPN and ECO,etc,in which MDR - ABA' proportion was bigger, with the incidence rate of 21.0%,35.8% and 46.4% respectively, symbolizing a rising trend. Conclusions The incident rate of multidrug resistance bacteria infections in ICU is going up,while the fatality rate is going down. The monitor and control of multidrug resistance bacteria infections in ICU should be strengthened to guarantee patients' and medical staff' s safety.
