Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the effect of CNP (Clinical Nursing Pathways) on renal transplant recipients during the perioperative period. Methods 60 renal transplant recipients was divided into CNP group (28 cases) and control group (32 cases) according to their admission time, and the method of comparison was used. The control group only received conventional care while CNP group received CNP care in addition. Two group's average length of stay, average hospitalization expense, satisfaction with the care and incidence rate of postoperative complication were compared during the perioperative period to evaluate the effect of CNP.Results The average length of stay of CNP group was (27.6 ± 4.3 ) d,shorter than ( 32.5 ± 6.8) d of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( t =- 3.245,P =0.002 ).The average hospitalization expense of CNP group was (48 621 ± 10 506) yuan, lower than (54 788 ± 8 521 ) yuan of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( t =- 2.509,P =0.015 ).The rate of “satisfied”,“less satisfied” and “not satisfied” of C NP group was 67.9%,28.6% and 3.6% respectively, and that of the control group was 37.5%,43.8% and 18.8% respectively. The satisfaction in the CNP group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( x2 =6.551,P =0.038).However,the difference between two group' s incidence rate of postoperative complication was not statistically significant (P >0.05 ).Conclusions CNP nursing method for renal transplant recipients during the perioperative period is scientific, reasonable and feasible, which can shorten the length of stay, reduce average hospitalization expense, improve satisfaction with nursing and promote the continuous improvement of nursing quality.
