Application of bedside observation hint card in postoperative care of renal transplantation patients

Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of the bedside observation hint card on the postoperative care of renal transplantation patients.Methods Based on the condition changing characteristic of renal transplantation patients and designed the bedside observation hint card.Totals of 120 patients were divided into observation group( n =60 ) which used the bedside observation hint card,and control group (n =60 ) used traditional bedside oral Shift.The patients' satisfactions were investigated after the patents discharged from ICU.Results There was 59 paients in observation group showed satisfaction,and that of the control group was 56,and the difference was statistically significant ( x2 =46.285 7,P ＜ 0.05 ).The number of nurses who were praised by patients,negative opinions on nursing of observation group was significantly better than that of the control group ( x2 =4.760 0,37.515 6,respectively; P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusions Application of the bedside observation hint card in postoperative care of renal transplantation patients can improve patients' satisfactions and it can be used widely in Intensive Care Unit.
