Development and application of perineum fixing band after radical resection of rectal cancer

Abstract:
Objective To improve the comfort level of perineal incision after radical resection of rectal cancer,and to solve the problem of the perineum dressings amotio.Methods 60 patients underwent radical resection were randomly divided into experimental and control group and each group had 30 patients.The perineum fixing band was used in the experimental and traditional fixed methods in the control group.The parameters of comfort level,frequency of dressing' s exchange,frequency of dressing' s amotio,duration of drainage,hospital day were analyzed.Results The comfort level was better in the experimental group than that in the control group ( The experimental group was better comfort 18 eases accounted for 60％.6 eases of the control group 20％ ) with significant difference ( x2 =10.001,P ＜ 0.0l ).Dressing time,dressing shedding frequency,frequency of dressing changes are (76.67 ± 16.45 ) s,(2.33 ± 0.52) time,( 1.67 ± 1.03 ) time in the experimental group,respectively; (290.67 ±41.05)s,(6.83 ± 1.17) time,(6.33 ± 1.13) time in the control group,respectively with significant difference (t =11.852,8.625,.7.826,respectively; P ＜ 0.01 ).Conclusions The perineum fixing band is safety,practical,and properly fixed the wound accessories; reduce the number of dressing exchanges,and conducive to wound healing.
