Effect of high quality nursing service on the nursing service satisfaction of inpatients

Abstract: Objective To compare the patient satisfaction before and after implemented of high quality nursing service.Methods Convenience sampling method was used and patients before and after the implementation of the activities of quality care in the 10 pilot wards were selected.Newcastle satisfaction with Nursing Scale (NSNS) was used to assess patients' satisfaction.Results The nursing service satisfaction was increased from 91.99％ to 95.94％ ( x2=13.165,P ＜ 0.05),and other items also were enhanced significantly.Conclusions The implementation of the activities of quality care can significantly enhance the patients' satisfaction of nursing care.
