Abstract:
Objective To investigate patients satisfaction with the situation of nursing students in high quality nursing service application of longitudinal teaching model.Methods Since a general surgical ward will be from April 2009 to March 2011 of 120 nursing students were randomly divided into control and experimental groups,each group 60,control group using traditional teaching model that horizontal teaching model is based on the function system nursing,the experimental group to use new teaching model that longitudinal teaching model is based on holistic nursing. Using questionnaires to evaluate patients for nursing students recognition and satisfaction levels.Results Trust score of experimental group was (36.29 ± 0.89 ) and (29.49 ± 0.63 ) in control group,and the difference was significant (t =7.137,P <0.01 ).Satisfactory score of experimental group was (35.54 ±0.91 ) and (27.61 ±0.55) in control group,and the difference was also significant (t =7.718,P <0.01 ).Conclusions Application of longitudinal teaching model is based on holistic nursing in high quality nursing service,could help to improve confidence and satisfaction of patients to nursing students.
