Abstract:
Objective To investigate the influence on the results of fetal monitoring in no stress test between hunger and eating. Methods 158 pregnant women in non-stress test were randomly divided into experimental (80) and control groups (78).No stress test with the pregnant women of the control group was carried out in more than 4 hours after eating; while the test with the experimental group was done in 30 minutes after eating again when pregnant women had eaten more then 4 hours. Results The experimental group (80 cases) had significantly higher reactive ratio than the control group (26 case) in no stress test, the difference between the two groups were statistically significant (x2 =9.922,P < 0.05).Conclusions Adequate diet nursing assessment was advised before no stress test of fetal monitoring, and pregnant women with starvation should avoid carrying out the test in order to effectively reduce the false positive and non-reactive ratios and improve the accuracy of test results.
