Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the research capacity of a continuing education program for assisting nurses.Methods The nurses of two hospitals Grade Ⅲ were selected as research subjects ( intervention group and control group).The information on the program before and after intervention was obtained.x2 test was used to evaluate research achievements (number of papers published and number of research project) of both groups.Results There was no significant difference before intervention research,After intervention intervention group research popers for 42 article numher,average (0.53 ± 0.50 ) article,the control group for (0.15 ± 0.35 ),comparative differences between groups was satistically significant ( x2 =5.505,P =0.000).Conclusions The continuing education programs could effectively improve the research capabilities of nurses.
