Abstract:
Objective To analyze the labor analgesic effects of beans-hot packing. Methods 120 vaginal delivery women accepted by our delivery room from May to September 2010 were randomly divided into 2 groups (observed and control team),60 each. The observed team used beans-hot packs to release pain, while the control team volunteered no analgesic measurements. The pain scores and duration of the first and second stage of laboring for both teams were compared to see the analgesic effect of beans-hot packing. Results Pain score of observed team after using beans-hot packing was lower than that before using beans-hot packing(x2 =8.472,P < 0.05).The first stage score(8.35 ±0.63)h,and second stage score(0.97 ±0.16)h in observed team were lower than those in control team[(11.26 ± 0.7)h in first stage and(1.26 ± 0.17)h in second stage],and the difference was significant(t =-12.958,-40.116; P < 0.01).Natural delivery rate in observed team was 95% and higher than 81.6% of control group(x2 =6.24,P < 0.05).Conclusions Beans-hot packing had positive laboring analgesic effects and could shorten the duration of the first and second labor stage.
