Abstract:
Objective To evaluate evidence-based nursing on patients with artificial airway.Methods 196 cases in ICU ward in our hospital carry out evidence-based care before and after 2008 were selected and divided into two groups:evidence-based nursing group and control group (n =98 in each group)and implemented evidence-based care and routine care,respectively.Nursing effects of the two groups were compared.Results 98 patients were to undergo a rigorous implementation of evidence-based nursing and effective airway management,no case occur airway obstruction and suffocation,32 cases were in normal nutrition condition and 35 cases felt uncomfortable,10 case in control group were in mal-nutrition condition,9 cases were in normal condition and 70 cases felt uncomfortable,and the differences were significant (x2 =22.242,71.205,25.128 ;P ＜ 0.05).Pulmonary infection rate in evidence group was 13.3％ and 25.5％ in control group,and the difference was significant ( x2 =4.701,P ＜ 0.05 ).The compliance rate and satisfaction rate were increased (P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusions The implementation of artificial airway in patients with evidencebased care can reduce complications and improve patient compliance and satisfaction,ensure quality of care and nursing services.
