Abstract: Objective To investigate patients' compliance after functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), the relationship between the impact-factors and disease outcomes, and nursing intervention measures.Methods A systematic scheme of medication, health education and follow-up for the patients after FESS was made, and their therapeutic effects were assessed combined with the disease condition during follow-up.Results The rate of patients' compliance after FESS was 39.4％, non-compliance behavior was 60.6％. Cure rate of medical compliance behavior of patients with good and poor respectively was 82.89％ ,23.08％ (x2 =69. 802,P ＜ 0.0l). Conclusions Patients' compliance after FESS could affect their therapeutic effect, and correct instruction after discharge and health education could improve their compliance and recovery rate.
