Abstract: Objective To investigate effect of postoperative pain control in trauma patients who are in painless ward with standardized management. Methods Patients were divided into two groups randomly according to their ID number. One was study group, another was control group. Study group received painless ward standardized management. Control group received routine postoperative pain control. Compare the effect of postoperative pain control of two groups. Results In the first day after operation, pain score of study group and control group were (2.51 + 1.37) and (3.79 + 1.50) respectively, the difference was statistically (t =4.682,P＜0. 01) ; Night sleeping time of study group was longer than control group, the difference was statistically significant (t = 5.734,5. 074,2.711,2.194, P ＜ 0.05), satisfaction degree was higher in study group (Z =-5.839,-6.34,-4.50,-7.23,-6.88,P＜0.01). Conclusions Standardized pain management in painless ward can reduce postoperative pain and increase satisfaction and comfort of patient.
