Effects of sanyrene hydrocolloid dressings applied to liver transplanting patients

Abstract: Objective To study the effects of sanyrene hydrocolloid dressings applied to liver transplanting patients during the operations in order to prevent pressure ulcers. Methods a total of 168 cases of liver transplanting patients from Nov. 2009 to Oct. 2010 were chosen as observation group, and sanyrene hydrocolloid dressings were applied to those of observation group. A total of 192 cases of liver transplanting patients in 2008 were chosen as compare group who didn' t have sanyrene hydrocolloid dressings. The two groups were compared. Results The possibility and severity of pressure ulcer in observation group was lower than group B (X2 =13.882, P＜0. 01), Healing time of obervation group (median 8.5 d) was less than compare group (median21.0d). There are statistic differences in each group (U=77. 500, P ＜0.01). Condusions Taking Sanyrene hydrocolloid dreasings as a protection measure can reduce the possibility and severity of pressure ulcers and shorten the healing time.
