Abstract:
Objective To study the effect on improving the nursing quality by setting up dedicated nursing team and implementing consistent quality supervision and guidelines. Methods The six dedicated nursing teams was established on the basis of running the 2nd level nursing quality control mode in the hospital since 2008, which keeps consistent quality supervision and guidelines onto the nursing tasks in the different wards, so as to compare with the nursing quality before and after the implementation. Results Compared to that before implementing the system, It has been obviously improved in the following aspects: the ward management,fundamental nursing, ICU nursing, health education, sterilization and isolation, ER quality, nurse operation skills and patients' satisfaction (t = 2. 025,2. 498,2. 320,2. 159,2. 639,2. 765; x2 = 14.38,10.57; P ＜ 0. 05 or P ＜ 0. 01 ). Conclusions By setting up the dedicated nursing team and implementing consistent quality supervision and guidelines, the nursing quality control pertinence can be upgraded, and nursing quality and safety can be guaranteed, as well as bringing in effective control on the factors of impact on the nursing quality,so that the nursing quality can be improved accordingly.
