Abstract:
Objective To investigate the nursing needs of inpatients with cholecystolithiasis and/or gallbladder polyposis following choledochoscope minimally invasive gallbladder-preserved procedure and explore its influential factors.Methods A total of 108 inpatients following endoscope minimally invasive gallbladder-preserved operation from June-September, 2010 in a hospital were investigated with self-designed "Minimal invasive gallbladder-preserved operation inpatient nursing needs questionnaire" by convenient sampling method. SPSS 13.0 statistical software was used to analyze data.Results Items on disease education and preventing recurrence of calculus and /or polypi post-discharge got the highest mean score, after that are items related to preparation and examination before operation, diet instructions perioperatively and discharge instructions. Items of psycho-instructions post-discharge and admission nursing items got the lowest scores.Conclusions Although nursing needs of gallbladder-preserved operation inpatient are affected by multiple factors, disease knowledge and preventing recurrence of calculus and/or polypi are most focused. Nursing staff should have knowledge of patient's individual nursing needs and their knowledge receptive ability, and provide nursing care tailored to patient's nursing needs.
