Abstract:
Objective To explore nursing management in the prevention of hospital infection of elderly patients.Methods 922 hospitalized patients(60-91 year old)were retrospectively analyzed in our hospital from January 2009～December 2010.Nurses were educated about various factors influencing hospital infection.Results Among elderly hospital infection patients,respiratory tract infections,urinary trot infections were major factors.Traumatic operation,and body resistance drops,unreasonable application of antimierobial drugs,medical persons lacking cross-infection consciousness,etc.are also infection factors.Conclusions It was important to pay special attention to and strengthen nursing management and standardize the nursing procedures for the prevention of elderly patients.
