Abstract: Objective To analyze influential factors of precise intake and output record for patients with rheumatic heart disease so as to facilitate nurses to implement appropriate nursing intervention on them.Methods 60 patients with rheumatic heart diseases were randomly selected; influential factors of their precise intake and output record were analyzed; the effects of nursing intervention on them were compared in a self-contrast way. Results Influential factors of precise intake and output record for patients with rheumatic heart disease included patients themselves, nursing care education and propaganda not being in place, and impreciseness of measuring tools. Nursing intervention could control and reduce occurrence of postoperative complications, and shorten hospital stay. Conclusions It' s very important to strictly control the balance of intake and output for patients with rheumatic heart disease, which is one of the symbols for evaluating the quality of basic nursing care.
