Abstract:
Objective To discuss perioperative nursing method of catheter-guided foam sclerosis therapy on cirsocele. Methods Twenty patients with cirsocele from April 2008 to April 2010 were treated by injecting one percent aethoxysklerol to the spermatic vein guided by the catheter. Psychological prepare for patients, perioperative guidance and observation were well done. Results All the twenty patients were injected successfully guided by the catheter. Varicose vein disappeared significantly through effective nursing.Conclusions The catheter-guided foam sclerosis therapy on cirsocele is a new domestic microtraumatic method.The medical staff should provide patients with effective cognition, psychological instruction and recovery guide,intensive care on the condition of patients to prevent adverse effects.
