Abstract:
Objective Self-made semi-sol ice pack, to explore the clinical effect. Methods Shape and temperature change of water ice pack and semi-sol ice pack were observed in the same room temperature.200 patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. Cooling effect of ice packs and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results Cooling effect of ice packs and patient satisfaction in the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group (P ＜0. 05). Conclusions Self-made semi-sol ice pack has the advantages of fine cooling effect, soft shape, easy production, convenient accessibility and low cost.
