Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the rehabilitation cognition and education demand of COPD patients and nurses of respiratory department,then establish more effective rehabilitation and education plan.Methods This study used own questionnaire survey among 50 COPD patients and 32 nurses in respiratory department.Results Patients and nurses have strong requirement for health education of lung rehabilitation,there were significant differences in the rehabilitation cognition between them;There was no significant correlations between the recognition and demand degree of rehabilitation education;rehabilitation education including teaching and demonstrating by doctors and nurses or video record and publicize data were best received by COPD patients;the major reason influenced the education work of nurses was that they were too busy.Conclusions Rehabilitation education programs with different methods for COPD patients are necessary and individual education is the best.
