Abstract:
Objective To establish the rating scale of breast feeding and determinate the effect of breast feeding.Methods Using the clinical survey,experts' consultation,literature review,theoretical study and pre-survey methods to develop the content of rating scale;190 pairs of mothers and babies were surveyed by this rating scale and the data for reliability and validity was analyzed.Results The Cronbach α coefficient is 0.82 and the Spearman rank coefficient rs is 0.901 5.The content validity and the structure validity analysis show that the scale is logical and stable in structure of specialty.Using the rating scale to evaluate the breastfeeding effectiveness of the discharged mother-infants,we got the effective percentage is 40.22%.Conclusions With higher reliability and validity and in line with the requirements of scale,the rating scale of breast feeding can be used in clinical setting to measure breast feeding effectiveness.
