Abstract:
Objective To explore the influence of self-management education on prevention of neurological surgery patients with deep vein thrombosis. Methods 120 neurosurgical patients undergoing selective surgery were randomly divided into observation group (60 cases) and control group (60 cases).Individuals in observation group were treated with targeted self-management education along with medicine,while, besides the medicine, individuals in control group were treated with conventional health education only.The awareness of disease-related knowledge and incidence of deep vein thrombosis in the two groups were compared before and after the education. Results Before self-management education, no difference of the awareness of disease-related knowledge was found in the two groups ( P ＞ 0. 05 ). After self-management education, the observation groups patients' awareness of disease-related knowledge was improved obviously. The incidence of deep venous thrombosis in observation group was lower than those in control group ( P ＜ 0. 01 ).Conclusions Apply self-management education on patients undergoing ne urosurgery,the prevention of DVT for nation havea positive effect. It' s worthy of clinical application.
