Abstract:
Objective To explore the relationship of subjective well-being (SWB), social support and coping styles among burn patients. Methods 150 burn patients were investigated with subjective well-being index scale, social support rating scale and medical coping modes questionnaire (MICMQ). Results Average scores of total well-being index, total emotional index and total life satisfaction were (26.96 ± 13.91), (24.03 ±12.51)and (2.93 ± 1.63), respectively. There were statistically significant correlations among dimensions of social support, positive coping style and subjective well-being. Conclusions Total social support and positive coping style are the influencing factors of SWB of burn patients.
