Abstract: Objective To investigate the PICC daily maintenance behavior and self-efficacy of cancer patients. Methods 104 patients with PICC in hospital were investigated by questionnaire. Results 90% patients had knowledge on basic PICC daily maintenance, and the self-efficacy of these patients was above the moderate level. PICC daily maintenance activities was positive related with the time with PICC, education level,the number of children and self-efficacy (P ＜ 0. 05). Conclusions The patients with PICC need better and further health education to improve their behaviors of PICC daily maintenance and self-efficacy.
