Abstract:
Objective To investigate the mental status of relatives of patients with traumatic brain injury, to carry out rotional intervention might benefit the recovery of patients. Methods 300 relatives of patients with traumatic brain injury sampled from 12 hospitals were surveyed. Results The general level of mental health of the objects was low. The influencing factors of mental health were the severity of injury, age of the patients,needs of insurance, proximity and support, availability of social supports. Conclusions Properly assessing the mental status of patients' relatives and carrying out rational intervention might benefit the recovery of patients.
