Abstract:
Objective To explore the nursing risk and management of the gerontal patient underwent operation of total knee replacement in perioperative period, and decrease the nursing risk. Methods 110 gerontal patients underwent operation of total knee replacement were divided into the experiment group and the control group according to the operation time. Patients in control group were given routine nursing cares and the ones in experiment group received nursing risk interventions based on the risk procedure management. Results The two groups had obvious difference in the nursing defect rates ( x2 = 4.21, P < 0. 05 ), the degree of satisfaction (t =11.78,P <0. 01 ), the cost of HSS (t = 20.09,P<0.01), and the rate of operation-correlated complications (t = 5. 30, P <0.01), average stay in hospital (t =8.01, P <0. 01 ), and the qualified rate of nursing cases (t =7. 70, P < 0. 01 ) one day before leaving the hospital. Conclusions Risk procedure management in the gerontal patients underwent operation of total knee replacement in perioperative period could reduce the occurrence of nursing faults, the complications after operation and the length of stay, and raise the satisfaction degree, the function of knee joints and the qualified rate of nursing cases.
