Abstract: Objective To evaluate the integrated measures preventing the deep venous thrombosis (DVT) after fracture of the femoral neck in the aged. Methods Assess 50 older patients with fracture of the femoral neck according to the risk factors of the DVT and take the integrated measures for prevention correspondingly. Observe the symptoms and signs of the DVT and evaluate the prevented effect of the integrated measures on the DVT after fracture of the femoral neck in the aged. Results No patient with fracture of the femoral neck has developed the DVT after taking integrated measures for prevention. Conclusions It is positive significant to take integrated measures for preventing DVT in the older patients with fracture of the femoral neck.
