Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of the moist dressing on wound care after abscess incision.Methods Sixty patients with abscess incision were divided into two groupes rabdomly,one for moist dressing change and the other for routine method.Dressing change frequency,cure time and pain grading were recorded and compared.Results In the study group the wound cure time and the dressing change frequency wele less than that of the control group(P<0.05),also with lower pain grading.Conclusions Using moist dressing on wound care after abscess incision not only shortens the cure time with the dressing change frequency decreased,but also relieves pain for patients.
