Abstract:
Objective To explore the relationship between degree of depression of recurrent stroke patients and family function.Methods The subjects were randomly singled out of 178 recurrent stroke patients.Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) and family concern index questionnaire (APGAR) were employeed to assess the depressive degree of recurrent stroke patients and family support conditions 2 weeks after admission to hospital.Corralation between the depressive degree of recurrent stroke patients and the family function was analysed in this research,too.Results The depressive degree of recurrent stroke patients and the family function was corralated negatively (P<0.01).Conclusions The family function might has positively effect on the depressive degree of recurrent stroke patients,so famiy function should be strengthened especially for victims suffered from recurrent stroke.
