Abstract:
Objective To explore the effects of infant-swimming on adscititious motor abilities.Methods The Movement Assessment Battery for Children (MABC) was applied and the results were retrospectively analyzed among 4-year-old children who had been divided into infant-swimming group(50 objectives)and the contrast group(50 objectives).Results The data were statistically analyzed by Mannwhitney U-test between the infant-swimming group and the contrast group in the following items,including fine hand operation,beading string,ball skills and the static dynamic balance,difference in the results of care rates between swimming group and the control group had statistical significance,the effect of nursing between groups was difierent.Conclusions The effects of early-engaged in infant-swimming will improve the adscititious motor coordination in fine actions as well as in general movement.and enhance the balance sense of their own.
