Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of modified Morita therapy on quality of life in inpatients with schizophrenia. Methods A total of 170 inpatients with schizophrenia were divided into two groups: study group and control group. The modified Morita therapy was used in the study group while rehabilitation therapy was used in the control group for 6 weeks. The scales containing SQLS, NOSIE, and ADL were used to collect data in this study. Results The scores of SQLS, NOSIE, and ADL were significantly different between two groups and the effect of therapy in the study group was better than that in the control group. Conclusions Both the modified Morita therapy and the rehabilitation therapy are effective in improving the quality of life and selfcare ability, but the former therapy effect is better than the latter.
