Effect observation and nursing of FENG Tian-you spinal manipulation in the adolescent with lumbar disk herniation caused by trauma

Abstract: Objective To study the etiology of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion in the adolescent,and observe the efficacy of the manipulation and pertinent nursing. Methods A total of 120 patients with protrusion of lumber intervertebral disc in our department were selected as research objects from the year of 2000 to 2007, then they were treated with a huge herniated mass by FENG Tian-you spinal manipulation. At the same time, they were taken care with pertinent nursing. Finally the results were observed and analyzed. Results After the treatment and nursing, 106 patients got recovery, 12 patients got improvement and 2 patients were of no effect . The total effective rate was 98.3% . Conclusions The effect of lumbar disk herniation with a huge herniated mass by FENG Tian-you spinal manipulation combined with pertinent nursing in the adolescent is better, and it worthy of popularization and application.
