Abstract: Objective To investigate anxiety status among caregivers of stroke patients and analyze it's related factors.Methods 98 caregivers of stroke patients were surveyed by the general questionnaire and SelfRating Anxiety Scale (SAS).Results The anxiety scores of caregivers of stroke patients were significant higher than that in Chinese norm.Stroke patients with physical dysfunction,cognitive impairment and caregiver gender,educational level,daily care of the time,family income were significantly associated with anxiety of the caregivers.Conclusions Support information from various channels should be established and more emotional and spiritual assistances should be provided to the caregivers.
