Study on correlation between working stress among different qualification nurses and coping styles and the social support

Abstract: Objective To help the nurses to face vocational pressure and improve their nursing efficiency and quality through analyzing the correlation between working stress among different qualification nurses and coping styles and the social support were investigated by three following questionnaire: Comprehension social support scale, Simple coping method questionnaire and Nursing vocational pressure source scle.Methods A total of 136 nurses were investigated by three following questionnaire: Comprehension social support scale, Simple coping method questionnaire and Nursing vocational pressure source scale.Results Among different class nurses, (1) there was significant difference in the score of vocational and social status, working environment and resources (P < 0.05) ; (2)there was no great difference in their methods to deal with working pressure (P>0.05) ; (3) there was no significant difference in their ways to get social support to cope with working pressure (P > 0.05).Conclusions Different class nurses do have different vocational pressure sources, but there is no significant difference in their methods to deal with them and get social support.
