Abstract:
Objective To investigate how various urethral catheterization durations affect the bladder function recovery after the radical operation under laparoscope on patients with cervieal cancer.Methods 62 patients with cervical cancer who were radically operated in our department from March,2007 to October,2008 were divided into two groups randomly.After they had received urethral catheterization for 7 days or 10 days relatively.the residual urine was measured and the urination condition Was obserred.Results Their residual urine qualification rate and normal urination rate in 10 days group are higher than those in 7 days group.Conclusions Patients with cervical cancer profit more from urethral catheterization for 10 days duration to recover their bladder function.
