Abstract: Objective To study the reliability and validity of serf-care ability assessment scalel for adult patients with diabetes.Methods One hundred patients with diabetes were investigated with the diabetes university,the reliability and validity of the scale was studied which can apply for Chinese.Results The overall reliability of the scale was 0.849 5,the correlation coefficient of each item score and their subordinate factor scores was above 0.7,with a statistical significance.Conclusions The scale also has high reliability and good content validity,structural validity for chinese.
