Abstract:
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and nursing of liquid compound draeorhedin enema in the treatment for ulcerative colitis. Methods 82 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group. Bletilla striata and dracorhedin were included in the compound enema. Dracorhodin enema was imposed on 47 ulcerative colitis patients as the treatment group (the dracorhodin group) and the treatment continued for 2 durations. Xilei San and Yunnan Baiyao were given to 35 patients for 2 durations (the control group). The curative effects were evaluated by comparing the melioration and recurrence rates between the two groups. Results The symptomatic improvement and the curative effect in the treatment group were superior to the control group (P < 0. 05). Conclusions Compound dracorhodin enema is effective for the treatment of chronic non-specific ulcerative colitis with little adverse effects. The method should be spreaded and used in the clinic treatment.
