Abstract: Objective To know the medical staff' s psychological state after the medical dispute and the coping styles. Methods The information was collected using the questionnaire survey in combination with the interview. Results The subjects' psychological states were good some days after the medical dispute, but poor during the medical dispute and short time after the medical dispute. The coping styles were mainly the active coping. The total score of SCL-90 was positively correlated with the score of the dimension of negative coping (P<0. 05). Conclusions The study subjects should adopt the active coping style during the medical dispute and short time after the medical dispute.
