Abstract: Objective To improve the awareness of prevention and treatment on early diabetic nephrosis (DN) among patients with diabetes in community,and to reduce the development of renal failure at late stage.Methods A survey Was made in 6 communities with a self-designed questionnaire and the data were processed with SPSS 13.0 software.Results The awareness of prevention and treatment of diabetic nephrosis (DN) among 100 patients was poor,which was not related to education,age,career and Sex (P>0.05). Conclusions Health education should be strengthened among patients with diabetes so as to improve the awareness of prevention and treatment of DN, which is the key to prevent and reduce the development of DN.
