Abstract:
Objective To explore the correlation between carcinoma-related fatigue and quality of life of patients with Miles operation in order to provide evidences for nursing intervention. Methods 60 patients with Miles operation were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group. The simple fatigue scale and quality of life scale questionnaire were filled in by the patients. Systemic nursing intervention was used to analyze the correlation between carcinoma-related fatigue and quality of life in the two groups. Results Fatigue symptoms in the observation group were slighter than those in the control group after the nursing intervention. The quality of life and function state were significantly different between the two groups after the systemic nursing intervention. The score of QOL of the observation group was higher than that of the control group. Carcinoma- related fatigue and quality of life were influenced each other. There were negative correlations between carcinoma- related fatigue and physiology, psychology and social relationship field ( P < 0. 05). Conclusions The fatigue symptom in patients with Miles operation influences their quality of life. Systemic nursing interventions can eliminate or decrease their carcinoma-related fatigue and promote their quality of life.
