Abstract:
Objective To investigate the study status of the cognition of the patients with anxiety in nursing work at home and oversea. Methods As to the nursing literatures about the cognition of patients from 1996 to 2006, we searched CBM database and PubMed database, and than analyzed the found articles.Results There were articles that met with the standard for a further analysis. Among them, CBM database provided 111 articles, and PubMed database provided 70 articles. Both of them had an increase of the number of the articles during the past ten years. In term of quality, CBM contained no article about system evaluation, 43 articles about alignment studies, and 54 articles about serial analysis and descriptive research of individual cases. PubMed database contained 19 articles about system evaluation, and 30 articles about descriptive research and serial analysis of individual cases. In term of the studied field, the data materials found by the search of the two databases covered the every aspect of the cognition in the patients accompanied with anxiety. The information of PubMed database involved Nursing Homes, students, and nurses many times. Conclusions The studies on the cognition of patients having anxiety have been concerned and are developing quickly. But compared with some of the foreign countries, our country has a lot of deficiencies.The quality and quantity of the nursing literatures in our countries should be expected for an effort.
