Abstract:
Objective To explore clinical outcome of directional drug penetration of Chinese medicine (DDP-CM) for the treatment of lumbocrural pain differentiated as qi stagnation and blood stasis, and its nursing measures. Methods Seventy-two low back pain patients differentiated as qi stagnation admitted in our hospital were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 36 patients per group. The control group was treated with the traditional Chinese medicine and given routine care in departments of acupuncture and combustion. The patients in the observation group were treated with DDP-CM on the basis of control group. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks and the clinical treatment effect of the two groups were compared. Results The treatment efficiency in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (91.67% vs.69.44%,P <0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in pain between the two groups, but showed no significant difference (P > 0.05).After treatment, the pain in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the observation group (P < 0.05).Conclusion For low back and leg pain patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis, directional drug penetration of Chinese medicine has a very good clinical effect and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
