- Abstract: Objective To investigate the infusion hot stick to in prevention of PICC catheter difficulty and mechanical phlebitis.Methods A total of 96 patients underwent PICC catheter were divided into experimental group and control group,the experimental group received infusion hot paste before and after cathetering,PICC catheter difficulty and mechanical phlebitis of two groups were observed.Results Experimental group had lower catheter difficulties and incidence rate of mechanical phlebitis than the control group (P ＜0.05).Conclusion Infusion hot paste can reduce PICC tube difficulty and the incidence rate of mechanical phlebitis.
