Abstract:
Objective To study application of linkage health education combined with home self-care in patients with chronic diabetes and its effect on blood glucose control.Methods A total of 120 patients with chronic diabetes mellitus treated in our hospital were divided into study group and control group according to random number table method,with 60 cases in each group,given linkage health education combined with home self-care,and routine nursing intervention,respectively.The quality of life,blood glucose and disease control were observed and compared between the two groups before and after nursing.Results There was no significant difference in the quality of life between the two groups before nursing (P ＞ 0.05).The quality of life after nursing of two groups was higher than nursing before,and the study group was higher than the control group (P ＜ 0.05).At 6 months after discharge,the fasting blood glucose and the 2 h postprandial blood glucose were significantly higher in the control group when compared to the nursing before (P ＜ 0.05),and the study group was lower than nursing before and the control group (P ＜ 0.05).The effective rate was higher in the study group than the control group (98.3％ vs.73.3％,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Linkage health education joint home self-care can effectively control blood glucose levels and disease development,and improve patients'quality of life,so it is worthy of clinical promotion.
