Abstract:
Objective To investigate effect of cluster nursing in the prevention of ventilator mask related adverse reactions in patients with respiratory failure.Methods A total of 100 respiratory failure patients who received ventilator assisted ventilation in our hospital were selected as the research subjects,and were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 50 cases per group,given cluster nursing and routine nursing,respectively.The application of ventilators,the adverse reactions of facial skin and the occurrence of pressure sores were compared between the two groups.Results There was no significant difference between the observation group and the control group in the daily ventilator use time and the cumulative use time (P ＞ 0.05).The symptoms of skin redness,dampness and burning sensation in the observation group were less than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).The incidence of facial pressure ulcers in the observation group was lower,and the severity was less than that of the control group (P ＜0.05).Conclusion Cluster nursing can effectively reduce the facial damage and decrease the incidence of pressure sore in patients with respiratory failure.
