Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effect of CAT evaluation combined with respiratory function training in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients. Methods A total of 42 COPD patients with CAT evaluation and respiratory function were as observation group (from January to March 2016),41 COPD patients with routine respiratory function training were as control group (October to December 2015).The changes of CAT score, pulmonary function,6 min walking distance and disease onset and readmission after 3 month were compared. Results The CAT score after 3 months of training in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the 6 min walking distance was longer than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05).FEV1,FEV1/FVC after 3 months of training in the observation group were higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).Disease onset times after 3 months in the observation group was less than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).Conclusion CAT combined with respiratory function training can improve the exercise endurance and reduce the numbers of attacks.
